We are looking for a diligent accountant to join our Finance department. The Junior Accountant's responsibilities include assisting with month-close processes, maintaining accounts payable documentation, supporting accounts receivable, and preparing financial reporting. The Junior Accountant will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared
• Manage accounts payable and purchasing and ensure expenses are posted to the appropriate accounts
• Resolve account payable and receivable issues or queries.
• Manage T&E platform.
• Meet processing and reporting deadlines.
• Respond to information requests and assist with audits.
• Support filings for state and local licenses.
• Assist the Finance team as needed.
• Any other duties necessary to drive our values, fulfill our mission, and abide by our company values

Required Skills/Abilities: 

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
• 2+ years of experience in AR and AP
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Bill.com is a plus
• Good problem-solving and time management skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
